What is the level cap in Pokemon Reborn gym? ›

At the beginning of the game, the level cap is Level 20. It increases gradually as the player earns more Gym badges. The maximum level cap in main game is level 100, and Pokemon cannot level up past this cap, even with Rare Candies.

They are battled to make sure that a trainer is ready for the Pokémon League. If a trainer beats a Gym Leader in battle, they earn the Gym's respective badge. Reborn has 18 gym leaders, one for each type, along with various backup leaders.

Serra Voclain is the Ice type Gym Leader of the Reborn League and the mother of Bennett. She hands out the Rime Badge, the 6th Gym Badge that the player receives. Serra is a calm and mature woman, although she tends to recall the past, which depresses her a bit.

Painter Vanhanen, commonly known as Noel, is the Normal-type Gym Leader of the Reborn League, the twin brother of Anna, and the son of Radomus and Zina. He hands out the Standard Badge, the 7th Gym Badge the player receives. Noel is usually stoic and is a bit more of a realist compared to his cheerful twin sister Anna.

A Pokémon will often not obey the player's commands if its level is too high and the player does not have the appropriate Badge, Stamp, or number of Badges. Having all eight Badges or the Island Challenge Completion stamp always makes all Pokémon obey the player.

Once you reach 1,000 Gold Gym Badges, they will start to disappear from your Badge list as you discover more Gyms. Once you spin the photo disk of a Gym that has left your list again, your Gold Badge and its extra rewards will return.

After you defeat Amaria for the Badge, Julia will tell you to go to Calcenon City. Fly there and go to the house in the bottom left corner. Go through the cutscene, go out of the house, and go right to Route 4. Go all the way to the right side and talk to Hardy.

Samson Alvarez is the Fighting type Gym Leader of the Reborn League and a member of the Agate Ace Triumvirate, along with Terra and Ciel. He hands out the Strike Badge, the 10th Gym Badge the player receives. Samson is fairly blunt and can be quite bold.

This is the first Gym the Player will challenge in the Reborn League. It is led by the eccentric Julia who specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. Trainers that defeat her are awarded the Volt Badge, as well as TM57 Charge Beam.

Luna Hazel is the Dark type Gym Leader of the Reborn League, and the daughter of Elias. She hands out the Eclipse Badge, the 9th Gym Badge the player receives. Luna is a fairly kind hearted girl and her manner of speaking is quite poetic.

Shelly Citra is the Bug type Gym Leader of the Reborn League. She hands out the Cocoon Badge, the 3rd Gym Badge the player receives. She is timid and gets paranoid easily, but is fairly nice to people. Shelly is also very intelligent and likes to read, even having her own gym a bookcase puzzle.

Charlotte Belrose is the Fire type Gym Leader of the Reborn region and the younger sister of Laura and Saphira. She hands out the Cinder Badge, the 11th Gym Badge the player receives. Charlotte is rude, sassy, pragmatic, and highly sarcastic, especially towards people she dislikes.

Iona is the Gym Leader of Levincia Gym, an Electric-type gym in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Iona is an influencer, streamer, and possible V-Tuber.

Each Gym has up to six Pokémon assigned to defend it. Trainers from an opposing team can bring six of their own Pokémon to battle against the defenders, in hopes of claiming the Gym for their own team. A Pokémon's ability to be successful in battle is primarily influenced by its Hit Points (HP) and Combat Power (CP).

Trainer levels

The current maximum level a player can get is 50. Each time players level up, rewards are given to them based on what level has been achieved. Leveling-up past level 40 requires both XP and Level-up Research to be completed. Trainer Level is also tied to maximum level an owned Pokémon can have.

It's based on the level you caught them at. Before the first gym, any Pokemon caught up to level 20 will obey. If you level them up past 20, they will still obey, but if you catch a lv 22 wild mon, it won't. It's based on the level you caught them at.
