THE NEWS THE NEWS DEATHS DEATHS NOVEMBER 20, 1992 OCONEE Robert S. Jenkins SALEM Robert Spurgeon Jen71, died Nov. 19, 1992, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was a graduate of Denison University in Ohio and received an M.A. and Ph.D from Ohio State University.

He was a former employee of Ford Motor Co. and was senior vice president and managing partner of Eastman and Beaudine Inc. of New York City. He was an elder of Noroton Presbyterian Church in Darien, and was a member of Pickens Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of the U.S.

Army Air Corps in World War II. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Kennard Jenkins of the home; four daughters, Deborah Gene Jenkins of San Francisco, Priscilla Jenkins Hodgson of Wyckoff, N.J., Robin Jenkins Dias of Bad-Soden, Germany, and Cynthia Jenkins Bernard of Alpharetta, and a sister, Carolyn Jenkins Martin of Westerville, Ohio.
