Do brittle marble respawn grounded? ›

Brittle Marble is a Node that supply the player with Brittle Marble Shards. They can be found throughout the games starting areas or caves primarily. They are finite and don't respawn when harvested.

These shards can be obtained in both node form and item form, primarily in Anthills or other caves in the early-game. Brittle Marble Shards can be found in all Marble nodes, but sturdy and supreme nodes require an Insect Hammer and Black Ox Hammer, respectively.

All sources of Brittle Quartzite Shards are finite and do not respawn.

When you see red ants, look around the area to find ant hills. Go inside them, then down into the tunnels and caves they've created below. You'll see large blocks of Brittle Quartzite that can be broken down for Brittle Quartzite shards.

Marble/Quartzite deposits do not respawn in the game, but you will find recipes to craft upgrade materials the more you play. If other materials aren't' respawning please feel free to submit a support request, and we'll investigate this issue.

Sturdy Quartzite Shards are a stronger variant of Brittle Quartzite Shards. It is only used for weapon upgrades at the Smithing Station. These shards can be obtained in both node form and item form, primarily in the Sandbox and the Upper Yard.

While normal Quartzite can be encountered in many locations across the Grounded map, Sturdy Quartzite is naturally a rarer find. According to the Grounded Wiki, Sturdy Quartzite can be harvested from nodes called Cool Stones of Toughness located in the Shed Surroundings of the upper yard and Upper Grasslands.

Spicy Shards are a resource harvested with an Insect Hammer or Black Ox Hammer from Spicy Candy. They can also be obtained as loot from Buried Treasure. They are mainly used in crafting Spicy Globs, Spicy Jewels, and Spicy Arrows, but they can also be eaten as a snack.

The first makes sturdy whetstones from sturdy quartzite (finite resource) and I believe this recipe is on the super BURG. L chip from the black ant lab. Once you return it to BURG. L you will have the option to buy the recipe under advanced smithing from the ASL with raw science.
